The Arahuacan coffee production has been strengthened
Recently the “Corporación Indígena Tayrona”, organization member of the arahuacan community, was linked to the program MIDAS in coordination with “Acción Social”, everything just to promote the economic growing of this aboriginal community by the donation of about 50% of the cost on activities like technical assistant, consultancy, innovation, finances, human resources, access to markets and managerial accompaniment for the production of the Tiwun coffee and some other economic activities.
For the arahuacan community is a way of enforcement that will allow them to manage and control all the aspects of their community life, because of sowing, crop, and commercialization of this product recognized all around the world. According to reports, there are about 825 coffee farmers that will take advantage of this economic activity.
